Schedules
Busy Life. Convenient Format.
The Trans-Global EMBA is a residency program that meets once a month, Thursday through Sunday, for 15 months. There are also two, twelve-day trips in Europe, Latin America, Africa or Asia.
Convenient once-a-month class schedule
We designed the Trans-Global Executive MBA schedule for professionals with demanding travel, family or work schedules. Once-a-month classes that make a global MBA feasible.
Kick-off with an extended orientation weekend
You begin the program in April or October with a five-day orientation (Wednesday through Sunday). You will form a foundation for strong working relationships with your classmates, faculty and especially your study team, through exciting team-building, communications, and cross-cultural management workshops.
Concentrated learning during residencies
After orientation weekend, ongoing classes are held once a month, over a four-day weekend (Thursday through Sunday). While the schedule sounds demanding, our participants say the time flies by! On-campus residencies allow you to focus on coursework without home or work distractions. Also, spending extended time with your classmates helps build strong connections that will last your entire career. Between sessions, you will have more flexibility for family, work, and other obligations.
Overseas Immersions
You will also attend two overseas immersions, which last 12 days each, and a global immersion in the U.S. with visiting EMBA participants from our global partner campuses. While specific locations for the overseas visits may change each year, previous classes visited South America, Europe, Thailand, India, and the Philippines.
Convenient location with facilities designed for executive education
Classroom and overnight facilities are provided by the San Ramon Valley Conference Center in the Bishop Ranch Business Park in San Ramon. This "Silicon Valley East" residential training campus offers classrooms, study and recreation lounges, on-site exercise and sports facilities, dining facilities, and overnight accommodations.
