In small, discussion-based classes, you’ll hone your skills in data analytics, strategic management, and business communication to ensure success in today’s competitive marketplace. You’ll learn from our world-renowned faculty of industry leaders and gain real-world experiences through internships, studying abroad, and hands-on projects.

Scholarships

In addition to need and merit-based scholarships, incoming students are eligible for the Accounting and Business Administration Scholarship, totaling up to $13,000 per year.

Saint Mary's College School of Economics and Business Administration is home to several student clubs and organizations including the Marketing Club, Gael Women in Business, and Saint Mary's College Investment Group; a student-run organization that manages the Responsible Investment Fund, a $220,000+ portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions- Undergraduate Minors

A college minor is a complimentary area of study that allows students to explore an additional subject alongside their major.

Typically, students are required to take about 6-8 courses or 18-28 Carnegie Units (CUs) depending on the field of study to complete a SEBA minor.

It is best to declare your minor either during your first or second year to ensure you have enough time to complete the required courses in addition to your major.

Minors provide a valuable complement to your major by expanding your knowledge and enhancing your skills in multiple fields to increase your employability. SEBA Minors can provide additional skills and qualifications to make you stand out on job applications.

Minors can be chosen based on personal preferences, career goals, or as complementary knowledge to your major. Receiving a SEBA minor alongside a major gives you a comprehensive skill set in multiple fields

In many cases, students can change their minor with their academic advisor. Please be sure to give yourself enough time to complete the minor requirements before your anticipated graduation date.

No, minors do not have to be directly related to your major. SEBA minors are great alongside a variety of different majors.
