Saint Mary's is grounded in the Lasallian principle of giving back to others through education, but many of our own students face unforeseen financial hardships at home that put their life-defining journey here in jeopardy.

The President's Emergency Fund was established in 2008 to provide financial relief to these students. Since then it has helped more than 100 young men and women continue -- and in many cases complete -- their Saint Mary's education.

We encourage you to contribute to the President's Emergency Fund -- or any area of the College that means the most to you -- and share in our Lasallian mission and heritage.

• Play your part and help us reach our goal of 100 percent participation before April 30; every gift supports our students!
• It's easy to give back! Make an annual commitment through the convenience of automatic payroll deduction (minimum $5/pay period).
• Make one gift of $20 or more, payable online, by check, credit card or cash.
  

Note: If you have already made a gift this academic year, or are paying off a pledge from a previous academic year, you are already considered a participant in the Faculty-Staff Giving Drive.

COMPETE, SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS WIN

Faculty and staff donors in the department with the highest percentage of participation (through gifts made January 1 - April 30) will receive luxury box tickets to the Oakland A's vs. Angels baseball game on May 21. The winners will be announced at a complimentary breakfast in early May for all Spring Giving Drive donors.
