What: In conjunction with the opening of the Hearst Art Gallery exhibit -- "You See": The Early Years of the UC Davis Art Faculty-- a panel discussion of artists and experts about the impact of the UC Davis Art Department on emerging Northern California art movements of the '60s and '70s. The panel includes artist Manuel Neri; exhibition curator Renny Pritikin, director of the Richard L. Nelson Gallery at UC Davis; Brian Gross of Brian Gross Fine Art, San Francisco, longtime representative of the art works of Arneson and De Forest; and moderated by painter and printmaker Jessica Dunne.

Where: Soda Activity Center, Saint Mary's College of California, 1928 St. Mary's Rd., Moraga. A reception on the Art Center patio follows the program.
