The attractions of the Bay Area extend beyond the borders of Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Here's a select list of destinations that are no more than a few hours away by car:

  • Point Reyes National Seashore you'll discover some of the most breathtaking views of the ocean meeting the land that California has to offer. The area is also home to over 1,000 native species of plants and animals.
  • Monterey is home to the legendary Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, as well as a plethora of seafood options and nearby beaches.
