Alumnus Elected to The National Academy of Sciences

Saint Mary's College Alumnus Carl Wu '74 was elected to The National Academy of Sciences, according to a news release by the National Academies. Wu was one of 72 new members and 18 foreign associates from 16 countries elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.

Wu is chief of the Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biology at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
