Planning, innovation, and achievement—these are key milestones in the 2014-15 fiscal year at Saint Mary’s College.
In 2013 President James Donahue launched a comprehensive planning process to design a bold future for the College. The resulting strategic plan, launched in 2014, is built on the strong foundation of the College's mission—to introduce students into the world of knowledge, guided by liberal arts learning, and our Lasallian Catholic tradition rooted in the life and work of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.
Saint Mary's world-class faculty are devoted to teaching and mentoring students, but also exercise their creativity and scholarship to contribute to their disciplines and a deeper understanding of our world.
At Saint Mary's the focus is on students and the education they need for fully realized lives. They are challenged by their professors who care about them as individuals. Their successes demonstrate the value of this approach.
The Saint Mary's education is a powerful combination of Lasallian Catholic social teaching and a commitment to inclusion and justice, whereby students learn to live inspired, thoughtful lives, and work to improve the world around them.
The visionary believers who made this a record-setting year for fundraising understand how to make dreams come true. Their generosity supports the aspirations of students who are profoundly grateful.
