What is political power?  How is it generated, and how is it undermined?  What is the relation of power to violence?  We will think through these questions in dialogue with "On Violence," by the great 20th-century political theorist Hannah Arendt.  A short introduction by a scholar of Arendt’s work will be followed by round-table discussions.
