Campus Convenience Store Now Open

Need a late night snack? Forgot some school supplies? Gael Goods, a campus convenience store operated by Sodexo, is open for business! Pushed forward by an Associated Students resolution, Senator Grace Farris the Vice Chair of the Class of 2024 and member of the Culinary Council (aka Food Committee), spearheaded the initiative for over two years to open a convenience store on campus that supplied basic items such as grab-n-go snacks, microwavable & frozen food, pantry items, medication and simple hygiene products. Gael Goods is located in the Cassin Student Union (next to the 1928 Pub) and is open Monday - Friday 7:00am - 11:00pm and over the weekend from 7:00am - 7:00pm. The store accepts traditional payment methods such as cash, debit, & credit along with Apple or Google Pay. You can also use Flex Dollars!

Lorne Ellison, General Manager for Sodexo shared that they know this option on campus was needed. Places like the bookstore and Cafe Louis had limited options and limited hours. It was important to Sodexo that they meet the needs of student requests. He also shared that students have the option to suggest items to sell in the store and they will do their best to meet those needs. While you are shopping, you can find the QR code that will lead you to the suggestion form.
