Campus Services Update in Alignment with New Contra Costa County Health Order

November 13, 2020

Contra Costa County issued a press release on Friday, November 13 which announces a new health order going into effect on Tuesday, November 17 at 8am. Although cases on campus remain low, the increase of transmission in the County has prompted a health order requiring indoor dining and indoor fitness centers to close. This health order will impact indoor dining at Oliver Hall and indoor fitness at the Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center.

Students will still be able to obtain food via grab-and-go at Oliver Hall and outdoor dining is available. Visit Good Eats' website for more information about food service on campus.

The Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center will continue to offer outdoor recreation options including lap swim, outdoor fitness classes and outdoor cardio equipment reservations.  Visit the Campus Recreation website for more information. Academic courses located in the Recreation Center will continue indoors as planned, in alignment with California's higher education guidance.
