Join us for a conversation designed to welcome community organizations to Saint Mary's College. You will have an opportunity to meet with CILSA staff and faculty to discuss curricular and co-curricular options for community parterships. New partners will have a chance to speak with existing partners about their service projects and experiences working with students. This will also be a time to start to establish formal agreements with Saint Mary's College for future faculty collaborations.
What can Community Partners do to prepare for the event:
- Watch this CILSA video about conceptualizing service-learning and collaborative-based research projects
- Talk with your staff about the video and draft a list of potential projects to bring to the event
- Bring literature about your organization and/or potential projects
Please RSVP by Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the link below. The CILSA Community Partners Day will be held on campus at the Soda Activity Center. Light refreshments will be provided. Parking is free.
