NOTES:
--The generic model is based upon the assumption that a 3rd Year transfer student has completed at least 16 credits, ENGL 4-5, Comm 10 (the only easily articulated lower division Comm requirement), the language proficiency, and the Artistic/Mathematical/Scientific/Soc-Hist-Cult Understanding Pathways to Knowledge. There is also a course “cushion” for missing Core requirements in the first semester. This also assumes that the student has not taken any upper division (UD) credits, but will only need 16 UD credits to graduate (i.e. one is waived)
--Most students will fulfill Engaging the World (EtW) requirements in 2-3 courses, many within the major and other Core requirements. Transfer students should be encouraged to explore EtW options in their major, Jan Term, and among the TU:TE courses. It should be possible to fulfill EtW without adding extra courses to program of study.

NOTES:
--The generic model is based upon the assumption that a second-semester/Second Year transfer student has completed fewer than 16 credits, and none of the core requirements except for Eng 4.
--Most students will fulfill most Engaging the World (EtW) requirements in 2-3 courses, many within the major and other Core requirements. Transfer students should be encouraged to explore EtW options in their major, Jan Term, and among the TU:TE courses.
