Drop Off Your Ballot—Right on Campus!

The Registrar of Voters has installed a ballot drop box at the Pat Vincent Rugby Field parking lot at the front of Saint Mary’s campus. Contra Costa residents can drop off their ballots here—without having to come through the front gate. Students, please take advantage of our on-campus voting box! All drop boxes will be available until 8 p.m. on Election Day (November 3, 2020).

Still Not Registered?

Californians must register by Monday, Oct. 19, by mail and online; you may register through Nov. 3 in person. Registration is easy on our TurboVote site. Visit the state elections site for more information.

Californians will vote on several ballot initiatives that should interest them, including:

·Proposition 16 repeals Proposition 209, which says that the state cannot discriminate or grant preferential treatment based on race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in public employment, education, or contracting.

·Proposition 17 restores the right to vote to people convicted of felonies who are on parole.

·Proposition 18 allows 17-year-olds who will be 18 at the time of the next general election to vote in primaries and special elections.

Remember to vote by Nov. 3.
