Early Tone Set with UOP

On Saturday, February 1st, the Men's Lacrosse team took on the University of Pacific. The Gaels set the tone early in the game with two goals by senior attack man Brandon Lee, followed by top-offensive threat Hayden Cook scoring another 5 goals. Starting senior attackman Sean Chacon started his season with 4 goals accompanied by another 4 from midfielder Austin Rico. The Gaels' face off mid won 10 of his 13 face-offs and scored 3 goals on top of that.

University of Pacific answered with some sporadic goals throughout the game but proved to be no match for the Gaels' defensemen and freshman goalie Quentin Martinez, who started his collegiate career by gaining an 80% save percentage. In the end, the Gaels came on top with a high scoring 26-7 victory! The Men's Lacrosse team continues their season with training over break for tough away games against Biola and Occidental College this week.
