NORMA COLE is the author of Spinoza in Her Youth, MARS, MOIRA, Contrafact, SCOUT, a text/image work in CD-ROM format, and two books published this spring, Collective Memory and Do the Monkey. She has translated the work of Danielle Collobert, Fouad Gabriel Naffah, and Anne Portugal. She is the recipient of the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation Award, two Gertrude Stein Awards, and a grant from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts.
