De La Salle Academy [Every Friday 3:15pm-5:00pm]

Hey Gaels, do you love music, do you love arts? What about mentoring youth? Well why not do all three!?

CILSA’s music and arts program which serves the De La Salle Academy community needs volunteers passionate about social justice to help serve as mentors to middle school youth. No experience is necessary and transportation is provided. For more information please email Zayra Rivera at

Oakland Youth Aspire [Saturdays 11:30am-5:00pm]

Oakland Youth Aspire’s mission is to create a warm and welcoming environment for youth of all economic, cultural and social backgrounds. Creating nurturing relationship us key with these kids, whether it’s drawing, playing games and even helping with homework with one-on-one attention—the ages can vary from 5 to 18. Monument Crisis Center [Every Wednesday 1pm-4:45pm]

Join a dedicated group of individuals at Monument Crisis Center twice a month on Wednesdays to tutor and mentor elementary and middle school students. Be a catalyst for change close to home. Transportation provided. For more information please email Jasmine Sindico for more details.

Sustainability [Whenever you can!]

Do you have a passion for sustainability? Are you committed to food and environmental justice?

Then the Sustainability Social Action Leadership Team may be for you. We are looking for willing and active volunteers to assist with various projects throughout the year, including Waste-less Wednesday food waste awareness program, Green Monday environmental initiative, our new chapter of the Food Recovery Network. We are very open to new ideas, so bring your own interests and inspiration!
