Technology careers are constantly evolving, and in recent years, have been growing at a rapid pace. How do these careers differ from startups to global public companies? What does it mean to be successful at different stages of a company's maturation? And what are tech companies looking for in candidates? Bryan Power will address these questions sharing key insights from his experience scaling Google in the mid-late 2000s, working at Square from startup to IPO and working at Yahoo as more mature company leading to a major acquisition by Verizon.

Bryan Power is the Senior Vice President of The People Team at Yahoo. In this role, Bryan is focused on Yahoo's culture and continuing to drive excellence and innovation inside Yahoo.

Bryan most recently led people operations at Square where he was responsible for scaling the company as it grew its presence globally. Prior to Square, Bryan spent many years at Google where he led and managed teams around the world and earned himself a reputation as a trusted internal partner for multiple organizations. Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and is a certified executive coach.
