Expanded Outdoor Recreation Hours & Fitness Classes
The strength station reservations have been a popular choice for students and increasing hours will allow for more opportunities each week to book a spot. Campus Recreation is expanding hours for outdoor recreation starting February 22nd. Outdoor recreation is available for bookings Monday - Friday from 12:00-7:00 pm.
Fitness classes also begin this week. A variety of fitness classes are available Monday - Thursday for on-campus resident students to reserve a spot. Mondays include a high-intensity interval training at 1:00 pm and a spin bike class at 4:00 pm. On Tuesday & Thursday at 3:00 pm, there is a fitness class that focuses on strength by using kettlebells. There are also two core fitness training sessions each week which include core Pilates on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm and a 30 min quick core session is offered Thursdays at 4:00 pm.
When Contra Costa County moves to the "Red Tier", we will resume indoor use for on-campus students while maintaining 10% capacity. Students can find more information about reopening on the Phased Opening Plan for Spring 2021.
