A Professor of Politics, Woolpert specializes in the U.S. Constitution, civil rights, the Supreme Court and California politics.

CBS-5/KPIX-TV interviewed Woolpert on February 12, 2012 about the likelihood of the U.S. Supreme Court reviewing the recent decision by the 9th Circuit Court that declared California's gay-marriage ban unconstitutional.
