An Associate Professor in the Graduate Counseling Program in the Kalmanovitz School of Education, Thomas can address issues surrounding child abuse, suicide, self-mutilation, grief and loss, eating disorders and cyber bullying.
Her academic research includes school counseling, school-based research, child and adolescent issues such as substance abuse, sexuality and sexual orientation, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and other developmental issues.
Thomas can also address adult career concerns such as burnout, mentoring, and professional development issues across the lifespan of an individual's work experience.
