Yuan Li, PhD

A management professor in the School of Economics and Business Administration, Dr. Li can provide expert commentary on China's market reform, Chinese management philosophy, new management trends, and business strategy.

Yuan Li

Li's research interests include institutional change, cultural and symbolic processes, organizational theory, and Chinese management philosophy. She has published in leading academic journals such as Academy of Management JournalAcademy of Management ReviewJournal of Management Studies, and Journal of Management Inquiry, among others. She serves on the Editorial Board of Organization Studies, the flagship journal of the European Group for Organization StudiesHer current project is a book entitled "China's Capitalist Transformation: The Rhetoric that Mattered." 

At SEBA, she teaches business strategy and leadership courses in the undergraduate and MBA programs. She also teaches Integrated Research Design and Knowledge Dissemination courses in the EDBA program. She can provide expert commentary on her research areas, particularly in the fields of China's market reform, new management trends such as diversity, equity and inclusion, and strategic change processes.
