Faster than a speeding meme!

The ability that we all have to download images, add text, and create memes is better than ever.  But so many are produced and used for statements, clinching an argument, or just for humor, that we often forget to determine if the claims in them are true or not.

It is time for us to continue to train ourselves to determine the truth or falseness of any claim.

Save the date for the next Ask a Librarian workshop for Thursday, February 23, from noon to 1.  Sarah Vital, our Business Librarian, is going to look at memes, and how to determine if their claims are true, false, or just confusing.  She is planning on this being an interactive workshop so come one, come all, bring your skills and skepticism and we will see you on the 23rd.
