The President shall preside at all meetings of the Guild and Board of Directors. She shall call special meetings, when required, and shall perform other duties necessary to fulfill the purposes of the Guild. In the event of any vacancy, she shall appoint a successor to complete the unexpired term. She shall be ex-officio, a member of all standing and special committees. The President shall, with the Treasurer and Recording Secretary, be authorized to sign checks for the Guild.
The Vice-President shall perform the duties of the President in the latter’s absence, or when requested to do so by the President.
The Recording Secretary shall keep the minutes of all Board and General meetings. She shall furnish copies of these minutes to the President, Moderator and Historian. She, with the President, may sign all checks authorized by the Guild, when necessary.
The Corresponding Secretary shall conduct all necessary correspondence for the Guild and shall perform other duties assigned to her by the President.
The Treasurer shall collect, receipt, and disburse all funds and deposit them in a bank designated by the Guild. She shall pay authorized expenses by check signed by any appropriate officer: President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer. She shall keep all receipts and disbursements and shall report all such at each Board meeting. The Treasurer shall make an annual report by July 15th of each year.
There shall be five members-at large. Each member shall serve for two years. In the event of a resignation before the end of a term, the President may appoint a replacement to finish the term. The members-at-large shall be responsible for serving on committees where needed.
