Fossil Hunting in Antarctica

An article titled "Fossil Hunting in Antarctica" by Judd Case, dean of the School of Science at Saint Mary's College, and James Martin, geology professor at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, was published in the February 2005 issue of the magazine Geotimes.

The article chronicles their December 2003 expedition to Antarctica in search of marsupial fossils living three-million years ago. What they discovered, however, were the remains of a previously unknown theropod, a meat-eating dinosaur.
