Gaels Stay Safe

October 26, 2020

Wearing your facial covering correctly is an important part to keeping yourself and others safe.

Here are a couple of reminders:

  • Wash your hands before putting on your mask.
  • Wear a mask that has two or more layers and is made out of washable breathable fabric.
  • Completely cover your nose and your mouth.
  • Fit your mask snugly against the sides of your face.
  • Make sure you can breathe easily.

Take Off Your Mask Carefully, When You’re Home

  • Untie the strings behind your head or stretch the ear loops.
  • Handle only by the ear loops or ties.
  • Fold outside corners together.
  • Place mask in the washing machine (learn more about how to wash masks).
  • Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when removing and wash hands immediately after removing.
