The centerpiece of the Athletics & Recreation Corridor (ARC) is the 52,000-square-foot Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center, named for the 1937 Saint Mary's alumnus who served as mayor of San Francisco from 1968 to 1976. The Corridor, located on the west side of campus, also will include a new 1,500-seat baseball park, aquatics center and an outdoor plaza linking the new site to the Korth Tennis Complex and Cottrell Softball Field. There are several opportunities for you to support this effort that will enhance life and well being at Saint Mary's.
The new weight and training room within the Student Athlete Performance Center will offer improved technology and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment for every student-athlete. This will provide the opportunity to train and compete at the highest level, while giving each individual top quality care. Every varsity coach on the Saint Mary’s staff places the new weight room and training room at the top of their priority list. The Performance Center, along with expanded seating in McKeon Pavilion, will add to one of the best Home Court Advantages in the Country.
Student-athletes benefit directly from your generous contributions to our Division 1 athletic programs. You can help ensure that all 17 men's and women's Gael teams stay competitive in the West Coast Conference and NCAA by supporting scholarships, academic support and other strategic initiatives for our student-athletes.
Your contributions to the team of your choice will make these possible:
- Top-flight athletic programs
- Stadium improvements
- Pre-season and overseas travels
- Trips to compete against other nationally ranked teams
- Scouting and recruiting
- Upgrades to technology and fitness equipment
The Tip-Off Club is an exclusive group of donors that supports men’s basketball at Saint Mary’s. Gifts allow our student-athletes and coaches to compete among the NCAA’s elite programs and provide discretionary support for Coach Randy Bennett to use for facilities, equipment, scheduling, travel, and more.
