At Saint Mary's College we are extremely selective about the students we admit. And once they're in, we find a way to make sure these talented young people can afford to stay. Your gift can make it possible for a worthy student to keep learning in the Lasallian tradition and realize their full potential.
Most of our undergraduates (85 percent this year) rely on financial aid to help them pay their tuition. Annual scholarships can make the difference between what a student can afford to pay in tuition and what it costs to receive this transformative Saint Mary's education. It takes a minimum of $5,000 to establish a named scholarship, with annual donations to keep it going.
To create a named endowed scholarship, the minimum gift is $50,000. Scholarship awards begin when the pledge is fulfilled; disbursements continue in perpetuity. Learn more about endowments.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship
The Alumni Legacy Scholarship, sponsored by the Alumni Association Board of Directors, is for the children and grandchildren of alumni. It covers approximately 25 percent of the tuition costs for admitted students.
January Term Travel Scholarships
You can make a January Term travel course possible for students who otherwise couldn't afford to study abroad. Last year, 19 students were able to go on Jan term trips because of scholarship help from our generous donors.
