Women in Leadership is a four-course program examines issues facing employees through a proven process of coaching, team projects, collaborative engagement, and individual challenges. The coursework is designed for immediate applicability and development.
Course Outcome: Increase clarity about professional and personal goals, strategies and support for future growth.
Completion Activity: Deliver a leadership learning plan that includes a leadership metaphor guiding your growth, a statement of personal purpose, and a plan for future growth and support.
Course Outcome: Expand knowledge and practice of adaptive problem solving, the action-inquiry process and a specific business area of choice.
Completion Activity: Report out to the group (with invited guests) on the specific problem of focus, and the learning that resulted from an engagement with that area of focus.
Course Outcome: Increase breadth and depth of social network as it relates to each woman's goals and strategies
Completion Activity: Complete a section of the leadership learning plan that will result from a self-directed in-person 360 process. This will include aspects of gifts/strengths, challenges/areas for growth, and specific people and entities that can support future growth.
Course Outcome: Develop greater capacity for executive management, working collaboratively, exhibiting presence and problem solving creatively.
Completion Activity: Presentations of both the strategic business challenge process and the individual learning plan. This will include an articulation of the 'growth edge'; efforts during the program to utilize their network and resources to expand their capacities; and the future plan for continued growth in a particular area of their development.
