- Piedmont Elementary Track Meet – Spring 2014, Unpaid
We have an elementary school track and field meet for about 300 kids that takes place in the spring here in Piedmont that is in need of some leadership. We have an excellent director that is stepping down to spend more time with his grandkids and he is ready to pass the torch to someone else. The Piedmont Recreation Department is taking it on but would need someone to help lead the organization efforts. The previous director is extremely organized ( I think he even wrote a step-by-step manual for the event) and can help the transition. There may even be some monetary compensation. I will find out more about the time commitment but it would be at least the spring semester (perhaps a meet up in the fall?) with all that leads up to the event in April and any debriefing afterward. It would be great experience and a wonderful addition to a resume. If you are interested please contact Laura Richey, LRichey@piedmont.k12.ca.us.
