New Format: Hall-Tonna Values Accreditation Program Spring 2021

Date & Time:
Saturday, May 15, 2021 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Note: Closed to New Submissions

There has never been a better time to let our values guide the way we lead ourselves and others in difficult and uncertain times. For the first time in five years, you have the opportunity to become accredited in interpreting and coaching others in the Hall-Tonna Values Instrument.

The Leadership Center at Saint Mary’s College and Values Technology, Inc. are again teaming up to offer a Values Level I Accreditation with the Hall-Tonna Values Instrument, which enables participants to provide values surveys and conduct values conversations with clients. If you have been looking for a way to strengthen your work with values and deepen your coaching engagements with clients, students and learners, this program may be designed for you.

New Format: We are changing the way we are offering the accreditation to better serve the purpose and outcomes of the values work. Instead of creating a large training of 20+ participants, this accreditation will now be limited to a smaller "Community of Practice" size of 6 people. The accreditation will be begin on Saturday, May 15 from 10 am - 2 pm, and then unfold on every third Thursday night, beginning with June 3 and ending on September 16. This will provide time for everyone to integrate what they are learning and benefit from the creation of their Values Community of Practice.

Level I Accreditation. Successful completion of Level I Accreditation qualifies you to administer and interpret the Hall-Tonna Values Assessments for individuals/clients. The program will pay close attention to understanding and using the values assessment tool. Learning to be a coach is a whole different activity, and we recommend that people interested in becoming coaches also pursue that specific training as well. With Level I Accreditation, you will receive:

  1. Values Survey and 90 minutes of 1:1 coaching
  2. More than 16 hours of Content and additional practice over 4 months
  3. Client Practice Surveys and Supervisory Coaching, May/September 2021
  4. Three Practicum Client Casing Sessions, May/September 2021
  5. Level I manual and supporting materials

Once you have completed the Level 1 Accreditation, you will be able to purchase the Hall-Tonna Values Management Inventory for use with your clients for $100/person. If the client partner is a non-for profit or academic institution, each survey will cost $50 per person. When participants complete the accreditation via the Saint Mary’s College Leadership Center, they are also offered a set of 8 HT surveys for $200 to assist them in building and furthering their practice.

Space is limited within this new Community of Practice format. The tuition for the accreditation is $2,499. There is a discounted price of $1,799 for SMC Students, Graduates and Community. Limited scholarships may also be available.
