COVID-19 Update for Monday, Oct. 11

If you have a health emergency of any kind, call 911 or Public Safety at (925) 631-4284.

Q: What do I do if I feel sick?

A: If you live on campus and have a COVID or non-covid related question, contact the Health and Wellness Center at (925) 631-4254. Its website is here.

Q: How do I know if I’ve been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19?

A: You are a close contact if you have been within 6 feet of an infected person (laboratory-confirmed or a clinically compatible illness) for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period (for example, three individual 5-minute exposures for a total of 15 minutes). Read more about Saint Mary’s Contact Tracing Team here.

Close contacts will only need to quarantine if they are not fully vaccinated, or if they are fully vaccinated and experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

Saint Mary’s COVID team will contact you if you are identified as a close contact. If you think you’ve been a close contact, you can report it here.

Reminder! Schedule your flu shot by calling the Health and Wellness Center at (925) 631-4254. A flu shot clinic will be held at the H&WC on Wednesday, 10/13; call for an appointment!
