About Our Services

The Health and Wellness Center offers all undergraduate students compassionate, confidential healthcare with a holistic approach for a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Summer Hours (starting May 26, 2020):

The H&WC will begin our summer hours starting Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Our front door will remain locked, to protect the health of our staff and campus community, but we will be available for administrative questions during our business hours. Please call us at (925) 631-4254 or email healthcenter@stmarys-ca.edu.

Our medical clinic will be providing limited services over the summer. Please contact your H&WC provider via your health portal email or call (925) 631-4254 to access care.

Our After Hours Resources page provides information for local resources. Our summer business hours starting May 26, 2020 are:

Monday- Friday*: 9:00am-12:00pm (closed from 12-1pm)

*Exception: Wednesdays: 10:00am-12:00pm

During the Academic Year:

Our Clinicians provide medical services in an urgent care model to all full time undergraduate students (and international graduate students) for illnesses and injuries. For serious or chronic illnesses, students are assessed by our Clinicians then referred or “bridged” to hospitals and Physicians in the community or to their primary Physician at home.

***Due to COVID-19, the H&WC is offering a virtual and in-person model to meet the medical needs of Saint Mary's College  students. Please call the H&WC at (925) 631-4254 for a telephone screening, to determine the best plan of care.***

There is a $10 visit fee, due at the time of service at the H&WC.

Travel visits are $25, see our Travel Health section for more information

There may also be charges for prescription medications, supplies, and immunizations.  Services off campus such as laboratory testing, x-rays, consulting specialists and hospitalizations are not covered by the College.  In these cases, your health insurance would be used.
