FALL 2021 UPDATE:

The High Potential Program/TRIO Student Support Services physical office has reopened for the fall semester. HP staff and peer mentors will be rotating in and out of the office, and we will offer both in-person and virtual programming to our students this semester.

SUMMER 2021 UPDATE:

Throughout the summer, HP staff will be working both on and off-campus to meet the needs of our current students and to welcome our incoming students to Saint Mary's College. HP students should be in touch with their success coach directly should they need anything from our offices during this time.

FALL 2020/SPRING 2021 UPDATE:

Per the President’s announcement, Fall 2020/Spring 2021 instruction and services will be primarily, and for many students exclusively, delivered remotely

The High Potential Program /TRIO Student Support Services physical office will remain closed through the fall and spring semesters; our staff will be working remotely, and all services will be delivered virtually.

While we will be physically apart, HP staff will bring intentionality, responsiveness, and a human-centered approach to all of our decision-making and programming.  We are excited to offer robust virtual offerings for HP students this fall.

Some details below (and others will be/were emailed directly to students).

  • All HP students will be connected with their Coach (Jenee, Joy, or Sharzad) via virtual meetings/phone calls. Students are expected to meet with their Coach monthly.

  • HP incoming first-year and transfer students will be connected with their Peer Mentor via virtual meetings/phone calls. Incoming first-year and transfer students are expected to meet with their Peer Mentor twice per month.
