Description:
The Afro-Latinx/Latinx/Indigenous People's Action Subcommittee (ALLI-PAS) of the College Committee on Inclusive Excellence (CCIE) is hosting our third annual Latinx heritage celebration symposium. Our guest speakers include:
- Corrina Gould (Sogorea Te' Land Trust), Rematriation, and Protecting the Sacred as Indigenous Women's Decolonial Work
- Alan Pelaez Lopez (@migrantscribble), Art as Civil Disobedience: Taking Our Stories Back
- Fuifuilupe Niumetolu (Sogorea Te' Land Trust), Centering Indigenous Feminisms, Rematriation and Ending Violence Against Women
- Jennicet Gutierrez, Trans Liberation: In the Struggles for Trans, Immigrant Rights and Abolition
- Danza Azteca Xiuhtecuhtli, Indigenous Movement Workshop
