CCIE Community Open Forums

chairs in a row, one is green with a dot, text reads CCIE Community Open Forum Monthly forums, held online, a space created to share your voice.
CCIE is the place to make structural and policy changes and surface issues that require change in our community and on our campus. Join CCIE facilitators in this intentional space to share your voice about experiences, concerns, hopes, and plans at Saint Mary's College of California.

At Saint Mary’s College, we believe that we can reach greater heights of excellence by learning from diverse people in our community and creating a culture in which we are all valued, respected, and supported. We envision a community that goes beyond the tolerance of difference to one that is guided by social justice, cultural competence, and engaged citizenship.

Our Forums Help Achieve This Goal By:

  • Creating intentional spaces for students, staff, and faculty to share their voices about experiences, concerns, hopes, and plans.
  • Creating space for listening and for questions.
  • Creating space for those who don’t feel comfortable or able to speak in a forum.

Want to have your voice heard, but not able to attend a forum? Use askCCIE@stmarys-ca.edu to provide input, ideas, questions, or concerns for CCIE to address.

Open Forums are held monthly and run by staff and faculty facilitators.
