Records and Information Systems

Records and Information Systems (Management) is the professional practice or discipline of controlling and governing what are considered to be the most important records of an organization throughout the records life-cycle.

Currently, Saint Mary’s provides the following tools for record management:

  • Student Information System (aka ERP) refers to the software that manages data records for student accounts, finances, human resources, and fundraising.
  • The SIS Portal is a way for students, faculty and staff to access their Saint Mary’s information on the web.
  • Data Query is a web-based dashboard/reporting tool used to view and report from official college records stored in the Colleague database.
