Service Request Systems

Service request systems track requests and incidents.

Currently SMC uses two service request solutions.

Footprints is a web-based service request management solution. It is used by several departments at SMC. Footprints allows departments to create “projects”. These projects accelerate  problem resolution, and aid in workflow.

Also, IT Services uses the ServiceNOW platform for its technology ticketing system. Your interactions with IT Services, including break/fix support, technology purchasing and requests for services, are all logged and tracked in ServiceNOW.
