Web Conferencing

Saint Mary's College of California recognizes the efficiency and effectiveness associated with the ability to use Web Conferencing applications from desktop computers or in meeting rooms with a shared computer.  At times, a video-teleconference is preferred, where the audio portion is transmitted via voice communications equipment.  Both are possible at SMC.

Zoom, Adobe Connect, Google Hangouts, and a host of other titles are employed at SMC to meet web conferencing needs. We recommend zoom and even provide Zoom Kits if needed. Note: Software as a Service or "cloud" applications such as Skype have limited support from IT Services for adoption and use.
