Technology Purchasing

The College requires that all technology purchases be made through IT Services. 

When making a purchase of information technology that will be owned by the College, use the TDX icon to the right and click Purchasing Portal/TPR to request new technology for your office, department or classroom.  This service is available to current staff and faculty. You will need to know your SMC Username and password to log in to the IT ServiceNOW portal to complete the form.

Additionally, students, staff and faculty may be able to purchase software or hardware from vendors for personal use at discounted prices. Please know that personal software and hardware is not supported by IT Services.  The Service Desk can be of assistance in pointing you to possible discounts.
