VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

VDI is a technology that uses Windows-based computers as "terminals" or "thin clients" that run from a powerful server which hosts the software and applications instead of the local machine. 

At Saint Mary's College we've adopted VDI in classrooms and labs that are set up with computers that run on Windows platforms.  This includes the teacher workstations.
