Kaiser Permanente Establishes Health Care Scholarship at SEBA

Kaiser Permanente has established an annual Health Care Scholarship for graduate business students at Saint Mary's College of California. "We are excited to partner with Kaiser to providing funding for incoming students that demonstrate a commitment to a career in Health Care or related fields and exhibit exceptional leadership qualities through professional or volunteer experience," said Dean Zhan Li. "We see the importance of global and responsible business in health care and are pleased to provide this opportunity to commited health care professionals."

Kaiser Permanente and Saint Mary’s College share a common interest in enhancing the social well-being of individuals, their families and their communities. Today, more than 200 Saint Mary’s alumni work for Kaiser around the Bay Area and more than 60% of our employees choose Kaiser as their health care provider. This close relationship enhances both of our organizations’ ability to serve as leaders in the local community.
Building on Saint Mary's deep roots in Bay Area business education over the past 150 years, the School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) is committed to developing leaders who think globally and lead responsibly. SEBA strives to enhance learning opportunities for students by developing the skills required of our region’s business leaders in a new age of social responsibility, globalization and economic challenge. Our students learn to identify and seize opportunities that simultaneously enhance social, environmental and economic bottom lines.
