Distinguished Speaker Series

Learn from the best of the best.

Saint Mary’s College has supported beginning teachers and their colleagues for over 25 years through the innovative Distinguished Speaker Series program. During that time, over 4,500 participants have engaged in relevant, practical professional development provided by national and international educational leaders. With the closing of the 2017-2018 school year, the Kalmanovitz School of Education will no longer offer the Distinguished Speaker Series. Our dedication to providing quality professional development will continue and will reflect our commitment to meeting evolving teacher needs.

We will be launching a new model for the 2018-2019 school year called the Transformative Teaching and Excellence and Leadership Program. In this new model, educators will still be able to complete professional development requirements and earn academic credit.
