About the Program

LEAP (Liberal Education for Arts Professionals) is a one of a kind college degree program specifically designed for professional dancers.  Our students have worked in all levels and facets of the dance world including: Broadway and national tours; top ballet, modern, and folk dance companies; music videos, film, and stage with major music artists; as well as specialty acts and everything in between.

LEAP makes it possible for performers to continue persuing their passion while earning their college degree and/or provides an alternative to the traditional 4-year on-campus college track for dancers transitioning out of performance.

“It was an amazing opportunity.  LEAP gave me freedom.”

—Garen Scribner, LEAP Alum

Current correspondent for Broadway Sandwich and All Arts TV, former lead of Broadway’s An American in Paris and dancer with Nederlands Dance Theater and San Francisco Ballet
