My Albert Record: View or renew materials you have checked out, check the status of books or DVDs you have on hold, check to see what you have on order with Link+, or in transit with Link+.
Cloud Print: From IT Services. Log in to download documents to print. Choose specific printers to send your documents to. You will need to release them for them to print, which you can do from any device. Warning: if you print and release your documents and then do not pick them up quickly, they will be disposed of.
ILLiad: Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery. Create an ILLiad account to request, track, and get material from anywhere you have internet access. Articles and book chapters are usually posted to your account within a week. Books can be picked up at the Circulation desk within a month. Document delivery is a service for faculty, staff, graduate students, and patrons with disabilities. We will scan and deliver print material located in the library usually within a week. We will also mail our library books to your home address. Document delivery is provided through our ILLiad service. Please call (925) 631-4840 for more information.
Databases: In most databases there is a section where you can set up a separate account to store your searches / create a virtual bookshelf / etc. In some specific databases, you'll need to set up a profile, like in Mintel. In others, you can use your SMC login and password to set up an account. Look in the top right corner of whatever database you are in for such phrases as : "My Account," "My Research," "My Profile," "My Settings," or "Sign in". You can see the entire A-Z list of databases from the navigation bar.
