The Library collection reflects the combined efforts of librarians and faculty. The policy guiding the development of the collection is available through the Collection Development Policy.  Each department or program assigns a faculty-library liaison to work with a Librarian Subject Selector to solicit collection suggestions from faculty, review the collection for strengths and weaknesses, and to inform the Library about new curriculum developments.

Faculty are encouraged to provide suggestions for the Library Textbook Collection.  Textbooks are acquired for multiple-section primarily undergraduate courses, and placed on 2-hour Reserve.
