The assignment

"The Journal Article Synthesis Paper ask you to choose two or three journal articles on a specific topic and analyze the approaches, methodologies, and conclusions of the articles.  The paper asks you to attend to how each article sheds light on that topic.  If the authors disagree, how do they disagree? If the authors use different methods, how do these different approaches influence the types of conclusions the authors come to?  If the authors seem to provide distinct analysis of a single topic with distinct conclusions, what does each contribute to the topic?"
