For a  front page Valentines Day  story on what brings people together, the San Jose Mercury News interviewed SMC Biology Professor Sonya Schuh-Huerta about her Jan Term course "The Biology of Sex, Love and Attraction." Reporter Martha Ross spoke with Schuh-Huerta, and some of her students, about the class , which examined the scientific basis behind the "chemistry" said to exist between people who are attracted each other.
