Mobile-ized Library Research

Remember when we thought people were slightly nutty when they appeared to be speaking to... no one?  Now we do not even blink-- they MUST be on their cell or bluetooth. It is a regular sight to see people strolling around clutching their smartphones, texting, talking, or surfing the Web.  Increasingly publishers are catching on to these ubiquitous items and are attempting to make research easier to do on them via a mobile platform.  Linda Wobbe, Head of Collection Management, will guide you through the use of your smartphone on certain vendor platforms for the next Ask a Librarian workshop.  Come help test out the vendor offerings and the Library's recently re-designed mobile-friendly site!

Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2014, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Wildenradt Theatre, Library

No reservations are necessary, but please bring your smartphone with you.
