Associated Students Charter 4 New Clubs
Pre-Dental, Neuroscience, Law & Powerlifting join list of 30+ clubs!
The Associated Students, at their February 27 Senate meeting, officially chartered four new student clubs. Many congratulations to the Law Club, Neuroscience Club, Pre-Dental Club, and the Powerlifting Club for their successful work in becoming chartered organizations under the student government. In order to be chartered, students interested in forming clubs first go through a process for conditional approval. After a full semester of being conditionally approved, they present to the AS and the AS then votes on full membership, as recommended by the Student Organizational Council.
The next AS meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 20 from 1:30pm-3pm in Hagerty Lounge, DLS Hall.
