Fall Fest Celebrates the First Day of Autumn
Festival of activities, games and food celebrated the first day of Fall on campus on Saturday, Sept 23rd. The 2023 Fall Festival, organized by the Division of Student Life, brought entertainment, crafts, a petting zoo and a Fall dance to SMC students that was funded by the Enhancement Fee.
De la Salle Lawn was filled with something to do for everyone Saturday afternoon. From a velcro wall, to face painting, to an airbrush station, undergraduate and graduate students alike experienced the many booths and left the festival with something in hand. The SMC community also enjoyed a hypnotist show, hosted by a long-time friend of the college, Dr. Dave. The headliner for the evening entertainment was Sam Johnson who provided “California Sound” that shared his mix of soulful blend of Pop, Rock, and Reggae music.
